What’s Blooming: Wedding Trends for 2025
As we step into the 2025 wedding season, we’re noticing a beautiful evolution in the way couples are approaching their celebration design. At Stoneblossom, we’ve always believed that florals have the power to transform a space—and this year, more than ever, our clients are embracing thoughtful, layered details that tell a story. From candlelit tablescapes to organically layered florals and home-inspired accents, these emerging styles aren’t just about what's visually striking—they’re about creating an experience that feels deeply personal and unforgettable. Below, we’re sharing the standout trends we’re most excited to bring to life this season.
Tablescapes Aglow
At Stoneblossom, we love to surround our florals with warm, twinkling candlelight, to truly set the atmosphere for an evening of celebration. This season, many of our clients are choosing to make candlelight the centerpiece of their tablescapes. With stunning candelabras, varying heights of taper candles, and a plethora of curated votive candlelight, guest tables are flooded in a stunning ambient glow, creating a lasting impression on guests.
The Rise of Antique Hydrangea
We have to name the Antique Hydrangea the flower of the season, with many brides utilizing this stunning bloom in their design plans. The muted tones of this variety of hydrangea add texture and dimension to floral arrangements, blending together beautiful muted tones of sage and blush, acting as a perfect addition to a soft, romantic color palette.
Petite Bridal Bouquets
This season, bridal bouquets are embracing a more curated and intentional aesthetic. Rather than dramatic, oversized bouquets, we’re seeing a rise in smaller, detail-rich designs that highlight the natural beauty of each individual flower. Inspired by timeless moments like royal weddings, these elegant, scaled-down bouquets bring a sense of understated luxury to the aisle.
Unexpected Elements: Fruits & Flora
When crafting a design plan, we work with our clients to create unique, immersive event experiences for their guests. Many clients have been inspired by the use of other organic materials in addition to florals. Whether it be lemons, squash, or berries we love to incorporate unexpected elements in our tablescapes. By blending natural, seasonal ingredients with stunning florals, we are able to create designs that feel both fresh and artfully curated, elevating every aspect of the celebration.
Bridesmaid Baskets
In lieu of traditional bridesmaid bouquets, some of our clients are choosing to have their bridal attendants carry wicker baskets overflowing with delicate blooms down the aisle. This choice incorporates the art of floral design with the art of accessorizing, creating an ultra-curated and finished look for each bridesmaid.
Weddings that feel like home
Modern weddings are all about creating an inviting, alluring environment that acts as the perfect backdrop for the celebration of the couple’s union. Some couples want the guests to feel as if they are in their home, or at an upscale restaurant. Achieving this look can be as simple as incorporating tabletop lamps as an additional lighting element within the tablescape. Our clients are also choosing to forgo traditional wedding seating, opting instead to utilize banquettes and other unique forms of soft seating to create a comfortable yet intimate aura within the reception.
